About Global Youth Counseling
Supporting the Next Generation
At Global Youth Counseling, we are a comprehensive resource hub dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by today’s youth and young adults. Our mission is to provide essential guidance, education, and support in a world increasingly shaped by modern technology and social media.
We understand the growing mental and emotional health issues among younger generations, the shifting dynamics of career and education, and the critical need for informed, evidence-based solutions.
School Counseling Informed Resources for Student Life and Future Planning
Global Youth Counseling is a counseling informed educational resource and guidance platform for youth, young adults, families, educators, counselors, mentors, and youth support professionals.
The site provides articles, workbooks, worksheets, and practical tools related to student wellbeing, social emotional learning, academic success, college planning, career exploration, digital wellbeing, and life skills.
The work is informed by school counseling, psychology, education, international school experience, youth development, and college and career guidance.
Global Youth Counseling is not currently operated as a clinical therapy practice, medical service, psychiatric service, or crisis service. The resources on this site are educational and supportive. They are not a substitute for care from a licensed medical or mental health professional.
Why This Site Exists
Many students and young adults are navigating academic pressure, future planning, digital life, social stress, and questions about wellbeing. Parents, educators, and counselors are often trying to support them with limited time and scattered resources.
Global Youth Counseling was created to organize practical, school counseling informed resources in one place. The aim is to provide clear information, reflection tools, and planning resources that support everyday student development without overstating what a website, workbook, or digital resource can do.
Current Focus
The current focus of Global Youth Counseling is digital resources, including workbooks, worksheets, articles, newsletters, and practical guidance tools.
Current and developing resource areas include:
🔹College readiness🔹Career exploration🔹Academic habits🔹Time management🔹Digital wellbeing🔹AI readiness🔹Social emotional learning🔹Mental wellbeing literacy🔹Life skills🔹Parent and educator resources
Future guidance consultations may be added later. If offered, they will be clearly described as school counseling style guidance, educational consultation, parent guidance, or student planning support. They will not be presented as clinical therapy, diagnosis, psychiatric care, crisis counseling, or medical treatment.
How We Work
✅ Clear and practical
Resources should be easy to understand, realistic to use, and relevant to student life.
✅ Counseling informed, not clinical
The work is informed by school counseling, psychology, education, and youth development. It does not replace therapy, diagnosis, medical care, or crisis support.
✅ Useful for students and adults
Resources are designed for youth and young adults, while also being useful for parents, educators, counselors, mentors, and youth support professionals.
✅ Grounded and careful
The aim is to provide helpful information and structured tools without overstating what a website, workbook, or digital resource can do.
Background
Global Youth Counseling developed from my work in education, school counseling, psychology, and student support. Over time, I saw that many students, families, and educators were looking for practical resources related to school, wellbeing, future planning, and everyday student development.
The site was created to bring those resources together in a clearer way. Its current focus is educational content, workbooks, worksheets, reflection tools, and guidance resources that can support youth and young adults without presenting the site as a clinical therapy service.
Current and Future Direction:
Global Youth Counseling is currently focused on digital resources, including articles, worksheets, newsletters, workbooks, and practical guidance tools.
Additional resources are being developed in areas such as college readiness, career exploration, time management, academic habits, digital wellbeing, AI readiness, social emotional learning, mental wellbeing literacy, and life skills.
Future guidance consultations may be considered later. If offered, they will be clearly described as school counseling style guidance, educational consultation, parent guidance, or student planning support. They will not be presented as clinical therapy, diagnosis, psychiatric care, crisis counseling, or medical treatment.
Meet the Founder
I’m Djurdje George Spasojevic, founder of Global Youth Counseling.
My background includes school counseling, education, psychology, anthropology, student support, university and career guidance, and social-emotional learning. I have worked in education and student-support settings across the United States, Spain, and Thailand, helping students navigate school, future planning, wellbeing, and personal development in practical and structured ways.
Global Youth Counseling grew from that work. Its purpose is to create clear, useful, and accessible resources for young people and for the parents, educators, counselors, and other adults who support them.
My work focuses on developing practical resources that help young people reflect, plan, strengthen skills, and make informed decisions across education, wellbeing, university preparation, career development, and everyday life.
